Secret Asset by Stella Rimington

Stella Rimington was the first Director General of MI5. She was the model for the first female M in the James Bond movies. Her experience lends an authenticity to this spy novel.

Secret Asset features a female operative trying to discover a mole, someone planted back in the days of the Troubles. At the same time there is a high pressure effort to prevent a terrorist plot. Are the two connected?

This is a must read for any fan of spy novels.
