  Morgan Dollars How To Order
1878 7/8 TF Strong

PCGS MS 63

This is a 7 over 8 Tail Feather Morgan Silver Dollar. If you click the close up photo you can see the tail feather detail clearly. This Morgan has very good luster under the attractive burnt orange toning with a touch of iridescent blue at the rims. $285

1879-O

PCGS MS 63

What an incredibly pristine reverse! One can imagine this reverse belongs on a MS 66+++ coin. The obverse has some light bag marks on Liberty's cheeks hence the grade. The fields are cleaner than your average 63 and the cartwheel luster is excellent! This date is scarce in gem so, for fun, show your buddies the reverse first and make them guess the grade w/o looking at the obverse. They may get distracted by evidence of die clashing most noticeable to the left of the upper right wreath so you can easily catch some collector buddies on this one. :) $180
1880-S

NGC MS 67

This Superb gem has awesome cartwheel luster. The devices are frosty giving this coin an superb semi-proof like look. This 125 year old coin has fewer scuffs than almost all coins minted in the past few years and that is tough because this is a larger silver coin! $920
1881

PCGS MS 64

Here is a nice untoned Morgan Silver Dollar. $130
1881

PCGS MS 64

If you like them untoned check the coin above. This example has beautiful blue and violet toning on the obverse. I think every collection of Morgan Dollars is improved with at least one colorful coin. It is like the spice in my food. $195
1883-CC

NGC MS 64

This is a beautiful Morgan Dollar minted in Carson City. It is untoned and has excellent cartwheel luster. This one is certified by NGC who sealed the original Government Services Agency (GSA) plastic case. $235
1885-O

PCGS MS 64

Here is a white coin with excellent luster. It is housed in an older green label holder. $60
1886

PCGS MS 66

This attractive Morgan Silver Dollar is white and lustrous with the slightest trace of amber toning right at the rim. The rim toning testifies to the originality of the surfaces. A tiny scrape in the field in front of Liberty's nose keeps this coin from a higher grade. $390
1888-O

PCGS MS 63

Toner alert! Beautiful purple, green, fuchsia and violet bag toning. $365
1902-O

PCGS MS 64

  Peace Dollars How To Order
1921

PCGS MS 63
This nice Peace Dollar has good cartwheel luster and resides in an older green label holder. There is a scuff on the outside of each side of the holder.

In 1921 the US Mint produced this design in High Relief which highlights all features. Unfortunately they had serious problems minting fully struck coins so reverted to a less attractive, flatter, design in subsequent years. The relatively low mintage and status as a 1 year type make this a desirable date. $410
1922

PCGS MS 64
Excellent cartwheel luster and amber album toning dignify this near gem Peace Dollar. $65
1923

PCGS MS 65

1925

PCGS MS 64

This near gem Peace Dollar has excellent luster. The hits are hidden in the devices, the fields are nice and clean. $55
