  Classic Commemoratives How To Order
1893

ANACS 62/63

Columbian Exposition. This coin was graded by ANACS in 1989 and comes with the envelope it was returned in. Back then ANACS graded each side by 4 different criteria. They noted all this on a certificate which also had a photo of the coin. The coin was placed in a flip with the serial number of the certificate on a label. This is a great reminder that a coins' "grade" is really an average of many qualities on each side of a coin. Certificate Front and Certificate Back. $85
1935-S

PCGS MS 64

San Diego. This Silver Half commemorates the California-Pacific International Exposition. Only about 70,000 were minted in San Francisco in 1935 with a total mintage of around 100,000 for the issue. This example looks nice with original surfaces. $135
1936

PCGS MS 65

Long Island. Nice luster and original surfaces. This coin commemorates the 300'th anniversary of Dutch settlement. $345
1938-S

PCGS MS 65

Texas. This issue commemorates the centennial anniversary of the independence of Texas. It was released over several years. A miniscule 3,814 were minted in San Francisco in 1938. This bright and lustrous example is undervalued in my opinion. $395
1946

PCGS MS 66

Booker T. Washington. This well preserved example has very attractive, original toning. $140
